Silk Linens
Machine Washing & Drying
Some of your larger Silk Bedding items may be machine washed. You may choose to place your silk Items in a pillowcase or mesh bag to prevent snagging. Avoid overloading washer to aviod unwanted wear to the fabric, small loads are ideal. Washers should be tumbler not an agitator. If using a dryer low heat is a must, and remove your Silk Bedding as soon as it is dry to prevent damage caused by the dryer.
Hand Washing
Hand washing your Silk Fabrics is the ideal method. Remember when washing any Silk Linens, do not use harsh detergents, instead use mild soap or fine linen wash. Always use lukewarm or cool water. If you have any doubts pretest a small inconspicuous area. Do not allow your Silk Bedding to soak long. Always rinse you Silk Linens in cold water. Do not wring the water from Silk Bedding as it may dammage the Silk Fabric. Roll your Silk Bedding ever so gently in a large towel to soak out most of the moisture. Silk Fabric dries very quickly. Remeber not to hang your Silk Bedding outside to dry as the sun can cause discoloration or changes in texture.
Ironing
Silk Linenes are naturally resistant to creases and wrinkles. Most Silk Bedding will straighten out naturally but if ironing is required, iron Silk Linens while they are damp. Always set the iron on low. Some Silk Charmeuse will require ironing to bring back it's natural sheen.

All SIlk Comforters require dry cleaning. Have your Silk Comforter cleaned by a professional. Machine washing is not advised.
