Silk Floss
Silk Floss is an all natural fiber. One strand of Silk Floss can be over thousands of yards in length. Silk Floss is typically used to fill Silk Comforters ensuring that your Silk Comforter fill will not shift or bunch up. Most Silk Comforters are filled with Mulberry floss. Mulberry floss is much more desireable compared to the wild " Tussah" Silk which other quilts are filled with.
Noil Silk
Sometimes referred to as a raw silk, Noil Silk is very dfifferent from most silks you have seen. Noil Silk is not dyed or treated. It is not shiny or smooth and you will find a nubby texture. Noil SIlk will give you more of a cotton feel and look.
Charmeuse Silk
Also know as silk satin, Charmeuse Silk is very shiny and extremely smooth making it drape and contour exquisitely over you. Charmeuse Silk is the most commonly heard of and recoginized .
Fuji Silk
If you want the soft touch and outstanding quality of silk fabric but don't like the slippery feel choose Fuji Silk. Fuji Silk is gloriously soft and drapes wonderfully. Fuji Silk is a spun Silk.
Habotai Silk
Habotai Silk is wonderfully smooth with less of a sheen. Habotai Silk is a finer silk and lighter in weight. Due to the lighter silk fabric Habotai Silk does not drape as well, though it is perfect if you have a warm room or it its a summer month.
Jacquard Silk
Jacquard Silk is usually used in Duvet Covers or decorative things. While boasting it's intricate woven pattern into the fabric, Jacquard Silk gives the perfect look of shine and matte.
